Current Position and Past Experience
Gayla Marie Stoner is currently Vice Provost and Dean of Online Educational Initiatives at Northern Arizona University. Previously, she was Associate Provost of Extended Learning and Outreach at Central Washington University. She was also Executive Director of UIC Extended Campus at the University of Illinois Chicago. This followed 18 years at Southern Illinois University, where she most recently served as Director of the Extended Campus.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Stoner earned her MSEd from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2007 and earned her PhD in Workforce Education and Development from the same institution.

Stoner was named the 2011 Sloan-C and Penn State Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning Fellow.
