Current Position and Past Experience
Eric Weldy currently serves as the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Prior to stepping into his current role, Weldy was the Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at Northern Illinois University for 3 years. This followed seven years as the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at Florida State University.

For two years prior to that, Weldy served as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Minnesota at Duluth. Weldy’s first administrative post was as the Assistant Dean of Student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Weldy earned his BA in Art from Eureka College and his MS in History from Illinois State University. He earned his EdD in Higher Education Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
