Current Position and Past Experience
Emily Forrest Cataldi serves as a Research Education Analyst at RTI international. She specializes in postsecondary education research and directs the High School Valedictorian Project II (HSVPII), which employs both quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques. She is currently co-authoring a book describing the study’s findings, which focus on the employment, post-collegiate enrollment, and other non-pecuniary outcomes of a cohort of high school valedictorians a decade or so after finishing high school, through the lens of college selectivity. Prior to this, she spent over 11 years at MPR Associates Inc., first as a Research Associate and later as a Senior Research Associate.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Emily Forrest Cataldi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology from University of Iowa and a Masters in Sociology from University of Washington.
