Dakota Pawlicki | Strategy Officer for Community Mobilization, Lumina Foundation

Current Position and Past Experience
Dakota Pawlicki currently serves as the Strategy Officer for Community Mobilization at the Lumina Foundation. He is also the President of Urban Needs in Teacher Education (UNITE). For a few months Pawlicki managed the College Completion Initiatives at Thrive Chicago. This followed a dual position as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Projects and the Director of College Access at Chicago Public Schools.

From 2009-2014, Pawlicki worked at Illinois State University and held several executive roles including Program Coordinator, Operations Manager and Assistant Director. Earlier in his career, Pawlicki served as the Director of Bands for Lindbolm Math and Science Academy at Chicago Public Schools and later, an Executive Director at Urban Needs In Teacher Education.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Pawlicki earned his BA in Music Education from Illinois State University and professional education license in K-12 music.
