Dr. Robertson holds a Doctor of Philosophy in art history from the University of Kansas (2011). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in art history from UT Arlington (1998) and a Master of Arts in art history from TCU (2003). Dr. Robertson has held fellowships at the National Portrait Gallery and the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Dr. Robertson gives monthly art history lectures at the Heard-Craig Center for the Arts in McKinney, TX. The lecture are the first Wednesday of every month at 12:30. Topics vary and range in subject from prehistorical to contemporary art.
When Dr. Robertson is not teaching, she is most commonly outdoors with her blue heeler Charlie and her tripod border collie mix Hank. They are named after country music legends Charlie Daniels and Hank Williams. Dr. Robertson is an avid sheller and spends time every year shelling the southwest coast of Florida.
