Christopher Sessums | Director of Educational Research, Internet Time Lab
Current Position and Past Experience
Christopher Sessums joined Internet Time Lab as the Director of Educational Research in 2012. Prior to this, Sessums served as the Director of New Initiatives and Online Learning at the UC Berkeley Extension. This followed three years as a Post-Doctoral Associate of Educational Technology at the University of Florida’s College of Education.
From 2000-2007, Sessums worked at the University of Florida; for the first six years as the Director of Distance Learning while concurrently serving as the Director of Correspondence Study within the university’s Division of Continuing Education. Sessums spent the last year as the Director of Distance Education before spending a year at the university as a Visiting Lecturer.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Sesusms earned his PhD in Educational Technology and Social Media from the University of Florida in 2009.
