Current Position and Past Experience
Christine Shakespeare has served as Assistant Vice President of Continuing and Professional Education at Pace University since April 2013. In this capacity, Shakespeare leads Pace University’s growing continuing education division, focused on adult and non-traditional student education opportunities including online degrees, English language training, and non-credit adult programming.
Concurrently, Shakespeare serves as a School of Education Program Advisory Committee Member at Northcentral University.
Prior to her appointment as Assistant Vice President of Continuing and Professional Education, Shakespeare served as Assistant Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Pace University, and Interim Associate Provost for Student Success. Shakespeare has also consulted for the New York University College of Dentistry and the Ford Foundation.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Christine Shakespeare holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and Policy from New York University and an M.Ed. in Educational Consulting from the University of San Diego. She holds a B.A. in Humanities from Hofstra University Phi Beta Kappa.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Christine is a recreational runner. She serves on the Zoning and Ordinance Committee of the Groton Long Point Association in CT. She also volunteers with the Waldorf School of Garden City (NY) where she attended K-12.
