Current Position and Past Experience
Chris LaBelle is the Director of Professional Development and Training at the University of New Hampshire, a role he took on in 2016. For five years prior, LaBelle served as the Director of Professional and Noncredit Education at Oregon State University. This followed three years as an Instructional Designer and Multimedia Developer at OSU.

Before getting into higher education, LaBelle was an eLearning Designer and Technical Trainer at Netflix. LaBelle served for eight years prior to this as a Technical Trainer with Siemens Communications.

Education, Honors and Achievements
LaBelle earned his MA in Linguistics from UC Los Angeles in 2000 and is a doctoral candidate at Boise State University in the Educational Technology program.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
LaBelle has three children and spends much of this free time with his wife and kids. He is an avid soccer play who coaches his youngest son’s club team. He especially enjoys the summer: fishing, hiking and enjoying the beautiful outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.
