Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2010 Dr. Charles Moorer has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Morgan State University in the Community College Leadership Doctoral Program and at Stevenson University in the Department of Developmental Education.
Dr. Moorer also served as the Director of the English Tutorial Program at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. Dr. Moorer worked for the Baltimore Urban League, the Waverly Family Center as the temporary Executive Director, and Baltimore City Community College as Director of many programs, and he was a Senior project Specialist at Job Corps at The Department of Labor.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Moorer earned his BA in English Language and Literature from Brooklyn College in 1978. In 2001 he earned his Masters of Human Services from Lincoln University. In 2009 he earned his PhD in Higher Education from Morgan State University, and he is a member of the Pi Gamma Mu Honors Society.
