Current Position and Past Experience
Carol D’Amico is a higher education reformer with decades of experience designing and implementing strategies to help students make the leap from higher education to the world of work.
As Executive Vice President, National Engagement and Philanthropy at Strada Education Network, she manages Strada’s work to strengthen education-to-career pathways for learners at any stage, of any age. Prior, she served in the U.S. Department of Education as assistant secretary for adult and vocational education, as executive vice president and chancellor of Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana and as president and chief executive officer of Conexus Indiana, a manufacturing and logistics initiative.

Education, Honors and Achievements
D’Amico holds a doctoral degree in educational leadership and policy studies and a master’s degree in adult education and organizational development from Indiana University Bloomington.
