Current Position and Past Experience
Brian K. Leonard is an Assistant Professor of Business Law and Ethics at Alabama A&M University.
He passed the bar in Alabama, North Carolina, and Tennessee. He practiced law for several years first in private practice and then as a local government attorney. His area of research is employment, labor, and civil rights law. His research has been published in the Journal of Employment and Labor Law. His research will also be published in the book: Technology, Innovation, and Enterprise Transformation, Wadhwa and Harper, 2014, by IGI-Global.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Leonard holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from Tennessee State University, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation Law from the University of Alabama School of Law.
