Current Position and Past Experience
Brad Mahon is currently President and CEO of Great Plains College.

Previosuly, Mahon was the Dean of Continuing Education and Extension at Mount Royal University. He is also an award-winning and acclaimed guitarist, teacher, adjudicator, clinician and lecturer. He has served as Director of Mount Royal University’s Conservatory since January 2017, and was appointed Acting Dean of the Faculty of Continuing Education at MRU in 2018.

Prior to joining Mount Royal University, Mahon was Manager of Visual and Performing Arts at the Medicine Hat College Conservatory and Head of the Conservatory of Performing Arts at the University of Regina.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Mahon holds a Ph.D. in Musicology from the University of Calgary.
