Beth Rubin | Director of SNL (School for New Learning) Online, DePaul University
Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2006, Beth Rubin has been the Director of the online program at DePaul University’s School for New Learning, where she also teaches and conducts research. Prior to this, Rubin served as the Dean of Academic Administration at DeVry University Online. From 1990-1999, Rubin was an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba and before that an Instructor at LeMoyne College. From 1999-2004, she worked at Cardean University (part of UNext LLC), where she held positions managing faculty and curriculum, reaching the post of Director of Assessment.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Rubin earned her BA in Psychology from Cornell University. She earned her MA and PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Michigan State University, and won the Associates Award for Excellence in Teaching at the University of Manitoba.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
When not immersed in online learning or with her family, Rubin practices Shotokan karate.
