Bernard Bull | Assistant Vice President for Academics, Concordia University Wisconsin

Current Position and Past Experience
Dr. Bernard Bull currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Academics and Associate Professor of Education at Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW). He is author of Missional Moonshots: Insight & Inspiration in Educational Innovation, and What Really Matters: Ten Critical Issues in Contemporary Education.

Bull is a frequent keynote speaker and consultant on topics related to educational innovation, futures in education, and the intersection of education and digital culture. As a consultant, he has worked with a wide ranging of clients: Harvard Business Publishing, Markle, The Academy of General Dentistry, K-12 charter schools, K-12 independent schools, education startups, as well as a variety of higher education institutions.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Bull earned his B.A. in History, Education and Theology from Concordia University Wisconsin as well as his M.A in Curriculum and Instruction at Concordia University Chicago. Bull also has a Master of Liberal Studies from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, and an Ed.D. in Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University.

In 2012, Bull won the Wagner Distance Education Leadership Award from Distance Learning Administrator’s Conference. Bull was honored with the Badge Alliance Badge Visionary from Badge Alliance in 2015.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Outside of work, Bull enjoys spending time with his family, learning and experiencing new things (new foods, new people, new places, and new ideas), reading, writing, writing, and writing some more.
