Andrew Afton Lawrence is an online instructor at the University of the People and is completing his doctoral dissertation in Global Leadership and Organizational Management. In addition to his online faculty experience, he has administrative experience as a Course Content Specialist, Director of Online Programs, and Associate Vice President for Online and Distance Education at Bluefield College.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Andrew Afton Lawrence is completing his Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Organizational Management from Indiana Tech. He holds an M.A. in Teaching and Learning with Technology from Ashford University and a B.A. in Humanities with a Specialization in English from Bluefield State College.

Afton Lawrence was named an Elliott Masie 30 Under Thirty @ Learning in 2013. He was an honored guest and session leader/contributor for a Pecha Kucha presentation entitled "Where is Learning Going?" in 2013. In 2014, he was an Elliott Maisie 30 Under Thirty @ Learning Mentor.
