Current Position and Past Experience
Adrienne Phelps-Coco is the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning at Harvard University’s Division of Continuing education where she has worked since 2015. She is also an instructor for the learning design certificate at Harvard Extension School. Adrienne has been teaching since 1997 when she first began teaching nighttime GED classes to adult learners and since then has taught classes and led faculty trainings in-person, live online, asynchronously and in hyflex models. Adrienne transitioned to a career on online education when she began working as an instructional designer at the New England Institute of Technology in 2012.
Education, Honors and Achievements
Adrienne holds a PhD in American History from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Vassar College. She has also completed coursework in E-Learning and Instructional Design from the University of California at Irvine Extension.
Personal Details and Community Involvement
Adrienne enjoys spending time outside with her husband, daughter and elderly dog.
