Current Position and Past Experience
Melanie Winter is the former Registrar and Director of Institutional Research at Shenandoah University, a position held from 2010-2012. Prior to this, Winter was the Registrar at Walden University.

This followed her time with the American Public University System, where Winter spent three years as Registrar before serving as the Director of the Office of the Provost for two years. Prior to this, Winter spent six years as the Director of Administration at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Winter earned her Associate’s Degree from Rochester Community College in 1977. In 1991 she earned her BS from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and in 1996 she earned her MBA from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
