Current Position and Past Experience
William Sigismond is the Director of Experiential and Adult Learning at Monroe Community College, a position he has held since 1989. Since 1972, Sigismond has been an Adjunct Professor of Business Law with Monroe Community College’s Business and Economics Department.

Prior to starting at MCC, Sigismond was the Guidance Director for the West Irondequoit Central School District in Rochester, NY.

Sigismond is the Author of “Business Law; Principles and Practices”.

Education, Honors and Achievements
Sigismond earned his BS from Georgetown University and his MS from SUNY at Albany. He also earned a Certification in Counseling and Administration from University of Rochester and SUNY at Brockport.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Sigismond served in the US Army for 11 years; three years on active duty and eight years in the Reserve. During his last six months of active duty, and throughout his entire time in reserve, Sigismond served as a commissioned officer.
