Lee Ann Walker | Adjunct Professor, Upper Iowa University

Current Position and Past Experience
Since 2010, Lee Ann Walker has served as an adjunct professor simultaneously at Westwood College, Everest College Phoenix—Online, Lincoln College of New England and Upper Iowa University.

Prior to her teaching positions, Walker was a Senior Marketing Planner with the Jacksonville Transportation Authority. This came on the heels of her time at URS Corp, where she was a Senior Marketing Designer for seven years. Walker got her career started as the Marketing Coordinator at the University of Florida.

Education, Honors and Achievements
In 1998, Walker earned her BFA in Design from the University of North Florida. In 2005 she earned her MBA in Marketing from American Intercontinental University. She completed her Doctorate of Business Administration in April 2012 from Walden University.

Personal Details and Community Involvement
Married for 8 years to her husband, Craig, Walker has a five year old boy (Cael), and is pregnant with a little girl (Ryleigh) who will have a CHD called Truncus Arteriosus and will have her first open heart surgery at 5 days old.

Walker, an excitable cheer mom at her son’s sporting events, lives in Jacksonville, FL and loves to read and write an assortment of books both fiction and nonfiction (see blog below).

Walker is a rape recovery advocate who volunteers at women’s shelters. She is an active member of Mended Little Heart, which supports babies born with CHD.
